Omoyele Sowore, AAC presidential hopeful and activist, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, of accepting a ₦400 million bribe to establish a “fake government agency”.
Sowore in a statement noted that the incident is symptomatic of a wider problem within the administration rather than an isolated act.
Sowore tied the allegation to what he described as a long association between Tinubu and Gbajabiamila, suggesting their pasts make plausible deniability impossible.
He referenced alleged past misconduct, saying, “Do you guys not know @femigbaja’s history in Atlanta, where he was stealing his client’s money as a lawyer? And @officialABAT himself lived in Chicago, where his past was tied to drug‑trafficking and a major forfeiture case.”
He added criticism of the president and his inner circle, writing, “So, please, spare me the nonsense that @officialABAT suddenly discovered he had a thief beside him! Do you seriously think Tinubu doesn’t know Gbaja? Birds of the same feather don’t need introductions.”
Dr Sowore concluded by framing the matter as institutional, asking whether “the entire @officialABAT government is not a racket.”
